Sister Blessings : Miriam

Miriam is my little sister and a huge blessing in my life . She joined our family in Germany all the way from India when she was only 8 months old ! We were both adopted by our amazing parents, David and Linda, when we were infants and therefore share a very special bond that is unmatched by any other relationships we have. We are alike in many ways, yet very different in so many more. We have grown to acknowledge, appreciate and honor our unique qualities and have many great times reminiscing about childhood memories. Memories, such as the moments when she drove me insane because we shared a room and I was the neat one and she was, well, not so neat . Good times, or so I thought, when I ‘tormented’ her with the things I knew that she was afraid of such as noodles and the little penguin in grammy’s fridge which held baking soda. All I had to do was say the word noodle or penguin and she would run off screaming. Now that she is all grown up I can safely run after her with a noodle and we both laugh hysterically until our sides hurt. Recently, I was delighted to spend an evening with her doing a portrait session for her portfolio. If you ever have the pleasure of meeting my sister you’ll quickly learn that she is the “much much younger” sister and why her smile and energy are so contagious. Following, please enjoy a few images of my amazing sister, Miriamle.

Thanks! You are too funny! Love you lots! It’s amazing how ‘we are 2 peas in a pod.’ When your comments mirror mom’s, is when I almost ‘bust a gut!’

Love,

Miriam
